China criticized the planned 25% punitive tariffs that president Trump plans to impose on all steal imports.
The Chinese government stated that if all nations’ would follow America’s example, the consequences for the world trade could be serious. In the end, the punitive tariffs will not be beneficial for the US and may threaten the prosperity of the American people.
Mr. Ding Yuan of the China Europe International Business School in Shanghai believes that a trade war between the US and China could be a chance for Europe, because China would close its market for US businesses and European businesses could fill the gaps.
