Hong Kong-based Champion Union acquired 90 percent of the Swiss Grasshoppers football club. Champion Union is owned by Jenny Wang, the wife of Guo Guangchang. Guo Guangchang’s Fosun Group already owns the UK-based Wolverhampton Wanderers. With the backing of this powerful investor, the Grasshoppers club shall be lead back to its former glory, according to a statement by the club’s management.
