According to the Chinese ambassador to Switzerland, the expensive Syngenta takeover was no good deal for China. The ambassador would even convince ChemChina to sell the company, if necessary.
The chairman of Syngenta’s board of directors has a different opinion though, he said that he has full confidence in the agricultural group (article in German).
