Nestlé’s start into the year better than expected

Nestlé’s first-quarter sales grew higher than expected, and now the company is well on track to meet its goal of a 3 percent organic growth for this year. Growth came mostly from the US and China markets, respectively from pet care, dairy and infant nutrition products.

The company’s organic growth amounted to 3.4 percent, which is 0.6 percent more compared to the same period of last year.
