The world’s economies are experiencing a historic downturn, but China manages to buck the trend: The Chinese economy has been recovering for several months, and now even consumer spending is on the rise again, probably thanks to a stabilized job market and loosened travel restrictions. Currently, rising cars and property sales show that expenditure remains strongest among wealthy consumers, but the recovery seems to be broadening out.
Challenges, such as a high unemployment rate, remain though. Currently, many college graduates are entering the market and likely will have difficulties finding jobs.
