Chemchina and Sinochem create agrochemical giant named Syngenta Group

Chemchina and Sinochem have announced the merger of their agricultural businesses into a new holding company called Syngenta Group. Chen Lichtenstein, current President and CEO of Adama, will join the management team as CFO of the Group. The newly formed group would have a turnover of around EUR 20.6 billion and would replace Bayer as the world’s largest agrochemical company.
