When filming overseas, Chinese directors often choose to film in Europe. Zurich also appeared twice on the Chinese small screen, namely in the love dramas Remembering Lichuan (遇见王沥川) and The Interpreter (亲爱的翻译官). Due to The Interpreter’s popularity, the series leading actor, Xuan Huang, has become Switzerland’s first Chinese image ambassador.
