The Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) reports that the combat against the misuse of Swissness was successful in 2018, these are the key points of the year:
- There were 78 interventions by the IPI, all of the companies were cooperative and no criminal proceedings had to be initiated.
- Bilateral dialogue by the IPI was especially effective in China and the IPI only had to intervene in 34 cases there.
