Credit Suisse and Founder Securities agreed that the Swiss bank can hold a majority stake in their Beijing-based Credit Suisse Founder Securities (CSFS) joint-venture. Credit Suisse’s shareholding is expected to increase from 33.3 percent to 51 percent, the transaction still needs to be approved by regulatory authorities though.
